1. About 4Will

4Will is a will-drafting service that helps South African residents create a written will document via WhatsApp. 4Will is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The documents generated are intended as a starting point and must be signed and witnessed in accordance with the Wills Act 7 of 1953 to be legally valid.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age and a resident of South Africa to use 4Will. By using our service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. What we provide

4Will generates a draft will document based on the information you provide through our guided WhatsApp conversation. This document is a draft only. It is not legally valid until you print it and sign it in the presence of two competent adult witnesses who are not beneficiaries under the will, as required by the Wills Act 7 of 1953.

4. What we do not provide

4Will does not provide legal advice, estate planning advice, tax advice, or fiduciary services. We are not a law firm. If your situation is complex, including but not limited to business interests, offshore assets, trusts, or contested family circumstances, you should consult a qualified South African attorney.

5. Accuracy of information

You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you provide. 4Will generates documents based solely on your inputs. Incorrect or incomplete information may result in a will that does not reflect your intentions or that fails to comply with legal requirements.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 4Will and its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our service or from any document generated through it.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of 4Will after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes via WhatsApp or the contact details you have provided.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
